Windows Server 2025 Keys

How to install and activate
- Download the Windows Server 2025 ISO from the Microsoft Evaluation Center and install Standard or Datacenter.
- As administrator, run
DISM /Online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEulawith your key (ServerDatacenterfor Datacenter). - Restart when asked. The server converts to the full version and activates online.

How many cores does a key cover?
Up to 16 physical cores on one server. A server with more cores needs additional licenses.
Are CALs included?
No. Client access licenses are sold separately.
Does a Server 2025 key activate Server 2022?

What if my key doesn't work?
