Home or Pro?
Windows Home has everything most people use: the desktop, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Store, Windows Security and gaming features. Pro adds BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop hosting, Hyper-V, Windows Sandbox, Group Policy and domain join. A Pro key also upgrades an existing Home installation to Pro, so you can start with Home and upgrade later.
About our Windows keys
- Retail keys, activated online. You enter the key in Settings and Windows activates with Microsoft.
- One PC per key, unless the product says 5 PCs. The activation stays with that PC: you can reinstall Windows on it as long as the hardware doesn't change, but you can't move the key to another computer.
- Each key fits one version and edition. Windows 11 keys activate Windows 11, Windows 10 keys activate Windows 10, and a Home key activates Home only.
- Genuine Microsoft licenses. We buy unused keys from companies that purchase Microsoft licenses in large batches, and pass the lower price on to you.
- Instant delivery by email and under My Account → Keys, with the download link and activation steps.
How to activate Windows
- Open Settings. On Windows 11, go to System > Activation. On Windows 10, go to Update & Security > Activation.
- Select Change product key and enter the 25-character key from your email.
- Windows activates online. With a Pro key on a Home PC, Windows upgrades to Pro and restarts; your files stay.
For a clean installation, download Windows from Microsoft with the Media Creation Tool and enter your key during setup. Each product page has the full steps.
Windows 10 end of support
Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. Windows 10 still installs, activates and runs, but it gets no free security updates. If your PC meets the Windows 11 system requirements, choose a Windows 11 key.

Contact us within 15 days of your order, on live chat or at support@cheapkeys.io. We'll help you activate it or replace the key, and if no working solution is possible, you get a refund under our refund policy.

Is a Windows key a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep using Windows on that PC.
Can I upgrade Windows 11 Home to Pro?
Yes. Enter a Windows 11 Pro key in Settings > System > Activation > Change product key. Windows upgrades without reinstalling.
Does a Windows 10 key activate Windows 11?
No. Our Windows 10 keys are for Windows 10 and our Windows 11 keys are for Windows 11.
Can I move my Windows key to a new PC?
No. The key activates once, on one PC. You can reinstall Windows on that PC as long as the hardware doesn't change.
Where do I download Windows?
From Microsoft's website, with the free Media Creation Tool. The link is in your delivery email.
How fast will I get my key?
Instantly, by email and under My Account → Keys. In rare cases a system delay can add 5–10 minutes. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder or contact us on live chat.
